Lalesoy - Lamb Kokorec

What is Kokorec?
A delicasy made with lamb intestines, wrapped around sweetbreads on skewer. Horizontally placed over a charcoal fire. Preparing it is not as easy at the simplicity of items used. All intestines have to be very delicately cleaned through. Once it's grilled, an oval chop cut into thick pieces and lightly seasoned with lemon, olive oil (or any oil you like) ad herbs like oregano, thyme, sumac, salt, pepper and sometimes garlic. The Lalesoy pack has one already prepared for you, however, you can always create your own taste yourself. 

While serving, make sure you have a flat bread, most preferable one is small Turkish loaf bread luck you have one delicious and freshly baked in our store. You can have it plain or garnished. Red peppers are always a must in Turkish cuisine. As side dishes, you can have pickled hot peppers,  pickled mild peppers, pickled cornichons...

 

INGREDIENTS Kokorec: Lamb intestine (60%), lamb mumbar (20%), lamb fat (10%), lamb cöz and lamb sweetbreads (10%)

INGREDIENTS Kokorec spice mix: cumin, salt, oregano, paprika

This product is sent defrosted and you cannot freeze again. You have to consume within 24hrs after delivery.
